HanifKoh d1a3ef68c5 Fix CLI Crashes on Malformed Project, Assemble List and No-Input Runs (#15978)
* Fix CLI Crashes on Malformed Project, Assemble List and No-Input Runs

Four CLI paths indexed vectors without checking their size and crashed
with SIGSEGV on malformed input:

- A project inherits_group whose length is not the filament count plus
the process and printer entries was split by position. It is now
ignored with a warning, as if the project had none.
- An assemble list object with an empty filaments list passed validation
and was then read at index 0. It is now rejected as a config error, as
  is a negative filament id.
- --slice N --arrange 1 on a project without plate metadata read the
missing plate data. It now falls back to the plate's own filaments,
like the other plate data reads.
- --assemble with no input model built an object with no volumes. It is
  now rejected as invalid parameters.

A tests/cli script covers each case through the binary, since all four
live inline in CLI::run().

* Move the Assemble List Parser into libslic3r

Behaviour-preserving move of the --load-assemble-list JSON parser and
its plate/object structs from the CLI into libslic3r/Format/AssembleList,
so the format can be unit tested. The parser returns its own
AssembleListResult and takes the plate limit as a parameter; CLI::run
maps the result to the same exit codes as before. Every validation rule
and log message is unchanged.

Adds Catch2 coverage of the valid layout and each validation rule.

* Keep the Process and Printer of an inherits_group of the Wrong Length

A project whose inherits_group did not have one entry per filament plus
the process and printer entries was loaded as if it had none. The CLI
then looked for system presets under the names of the user presets,
found none and refused to slice a project that slices on main.

The group is now read as before: the process first, the printer last
and the filaments in between, up to the filament count. A filament
without an entry counts as a system preset. A group with fewer than two
entries is still ignored. The warning stays.

HanifKoh 8a6377f087 Add Missing Includes Across src/libslic3r (#16068)
* Add Missing Includes Across src/libslic3r

Every libslic3r source and header now directly includes the headers declaring what it uses, rather than relying on the precompiled header or transitive includes. Generated with clang-tidy misc-include-cleaner, with libslic3r headers spelled libslic3r/... so they resolve outside the library's private include paths. MultiMaterialSegmentation.hpp, Support/SupportParameters.hpp and Format/STEP.hpp are made self-contained by hand.

* Make the libslic3r Headers Compile on Their Own

Each now includes, or forward-declares, what it uses instead of relying on what its includers happened to include first. Left out: I18N.hpp, which errors on purpose when included from GUI code, and VoxelizeCSGMesh.hpp and SLA/bicubic.h, which nothing includes and which no longer compile at all.

* Add the Includes Missing From the Hand-Fixed libslic3r Headers

clang-tidy would not edit these headers while they failed to compile on their own, so the first pass skipped them. With the headers now self-contained, a second pass adds the rest.

* Keep Windows Setup Ahead of the Added libslic3r Includes

Print.cpp and Thread.cpp open with a _WIN32 block that has to come first; without the precompiled header, Print.cpp otherwise reaches windows.h through OCCT with NONLS defined and boost/regex fails. OpenVDBUtils.cpp and SLA/SupportTreeBuilder.cpp had includes inside #ifndef NOMINMAX, which libslic3r defines on Windows, so those were skipped there. .clang-tidy also ignores the MSVC STL and UCRT internals, Boost.Multiprecision's fwd.hpp and CPython's Windows include directory.

* Re-Add libslic3r Includes After the Clipper2 2.0.1 Migration

Rebasing onto main took main's version of the files the Clipper2 migration rewrote, so their added includes are restored here, along with includes for main's new code. Clipper2's individual headers are now ignored by clang-tidy: they only build the Z variant through clipper2_z.hpp, which defines USINGZ first, so including clipper.core.h and the like directly broke ClipperZUtils.cpp.

HanifKoh 2769b12ce7 Give OBJ Quad and Flipped Faces the Texture Coordinates of Their Own Corners (#15977)
load_obj emits the second triangle of a quad from corners 0, 2 and 3,
but read its texture coordinates from corners 0, 1 and 2, so half of
every textured quad sampled the wrong part of the texture. The corner
indices are now passed down to where the coordinates are read.

A mesh with inward-facing triangles is flipped after loading, which
swaps corners 1 and 2 of every face. The texture coordinates were left
as they were. They are now swapped along with the corners.

HanifKoh 8ffd3e514e Harden OBJ and DRC Import Against Malformed Files (#15948)
* Validate OBJ Texture-Coordinate Indices

load_obj read the texture coordinates of a face without checking the
vt index, so a face referencing a vt past the end of the list read out
of bounds and crashed, and a face vertex with no vt read index -1.
Out-of-range or missing indices now fall back to a zero UV. The face
keeps its entry in the per-face UV list, so the following faces stay
aligned, and the geometry loads as before.

Negative (relative) vt indices were also rebased by dividing the float
count by 3, but each vt stores two floats.

* Reject DRC Meshes Without Positions or with Invalid Face Indices

load_drc dereferenced the POSITION attribute without checking that the
mesh has one, and trusted the decoded face indices, which the Draco
decoder does not check against the point count. Both now fail the load
cleanly. A failed vertex conversion is treated the same way.

The libslic3r tests link Draco so they can encode the malformed meshes
in-test.

* Keep OBJ Texture Coordinates That Carry a W Component

The vt parser stopped reading the optional third component when texture
coordinates were cut down to u and v, but the check that nothing is left
on the line stayed. A legal "vt u v w" line was therefore rejected and
silently dropped, shifting every later texture index. The w component is
parsed again and discarded.

The texture coordinate stride is now a named constant, OBJ_TEXCOORD_LENGTH,
used by the parser and the importer, so the relative-index rebase cannot
drift from the storage layout again.

HanifKoh d35ea27ea5 Validate Zip Entry Sizes Before Parsing 3MF XML (#15958)
The 3MF importers read XML entries into a single expat buffer whose size is
an int, while the archive extraction used the entry's 64-bit declared size.
The two could disagree for entries declaring more than INT_MAX bytes.

Reject such entries before allocating, and use one size for the buffer, the
extraction and the parse. This applies to the BBS importer, the PrusaSlicer
importer and the PrusaSlicer fingerprint probe. The load now fails with an
error instead.

HanifKoh 490d134507 Harden 3MF Loading Against Malformed Plate IDs and Paint Data (#15959)
* Reject 3MF Plate IDs Below 1 Instead of Indexing Before the Plate List

The plate importer copied each plater_id from model_settings.config into the
1-based plate list after checking only the upper bound, so plater_id="0"
wrote to plate_data_list[-1] and crashed on load. Both copy sites now reject
ids below 1 with the same "invalid plate index" error already used for ids
past the end.

* Drop Malformed 3MF Paint Data Instead of Reading Past the Bitstream

Painted facets are decoded from a bitstream a nibble at a time with no bound
check, so a truncated or corrupt paint string in a 3MF (for example split
codes with no children behind them) read past the end and crashed on load and
slice. A one- or two-side split naming side 3 also indexed past the triangle's
vertices.

Every nibble read now goes through a bounds-checked reader. Loading validates
each triangle's tree and drops a malformed one with a warning, so the stored
data, used extruder states and later decoding all agree. deserialize() also
unwinds and clears any triangle whose tree is incomplete or malformed, and
has_facets() stops at a truncated triangle. Valid streams decode unchanged.

Kris Austin 7888452666 build: clear 7 warning categories across 26 sites (#15615)
* build: clear 2 warnings - cast the NSTextField the class check already proved

mainframe_text_field is NSTextField* and was assigned a bare NSView*, which
Clang reports as -Wincompatible-pointer-types. Both assignments sit inside
if ([viewObject class] == [NSTextField self]), so the runtime type is already
guaranteed, and the line above the second one casts the same variable the same
way to call setTextColor. macOS only, since nothing else compiles this file.

* build: clear 6 warning categories from the clang-cl inventory

-Wmissing-braces (9). Aggregates whose first member is itself an aggregate.
GUID's fourth member is BYTE[8], so the trailing eight bytes take their own
braces. The others were reaching for zero-initialization with {0} and say {}
now. bbs_3mf's backup Task ends in an anonymous union, which needs braces of
its own; those braces initialize the union's first member rather than the one
named at the call site, so the RemoveBackup site says so in a comment.

-Wmacro-redefined (11). SendMultiMachinePage.hpp defines five names that
Preferences.hpp, PresetBundleDialog.hpp, ExportPresetBundleDialog.hpp and
TroubleshootDialog.hpp also define with different values, so the value in
force depended on include order. All nine of this file's DESIGN_ macros take
the SEND_ prefix it already uses for its own macros, values unchanged, so a
DESIGN_ name added elsewhere later cannot collide with it again. They read as
one page-local palette, a 900 to 400 gray ramp plus sizes, so the four with
no current readers stay: dropping them would leave gaps in a named scale. test_marchingsquares.cpp defines NOMINMAX,
which libslic3r already passes as a PUBLIC compile definition, so it takes
the #ifndef guard the other suites use.

-Wbraced-scalar-init (3). Two PushStyleVar calls resolve to the float
overload, so the braces were initializing a scalar. ConfigOptionFloatsNullable
already takes an initializer_list, so the inner braces did the same thing.

-Wmicrosoft-goto (2). Both gotos in copy_file_gui jump forward over the
initialization of size, dwRead and dwWrite, which only MSVC accepts. Those
declarations move up to join the others at the top of the function.

-Wunused-private-field (3). Every use of ColourPicker's m_clrData and
m_picker_widget is behind !defined(__linux__), so on Linux they are written
and never read; the members now carry the same guard. ParamsPanel's
m_size_move is read nowhere. Tab has its own, which is the one Tab.cpp uses.

-Wnonportable-include-path (2). BaseException.h asked for "stackwalker.h"
and the file on disk is StackWalker.h.

HanifKoh 8a291f9d56 Confine config import to the preset directory (#15608)
import_presets reduced each zip entry to a basename by stripping only
'/', so on Windows an entry named with '\' separators kept its
directory components and was extracted wherever they pointed. Strip
both separators, and reject any entry whose name still escapes the
extraction folder.

The preset name from the JSON and the bundle id from
bundle_structure.json were joined onto the preset directory unchecked
as well, which let either of them write outside it on every platform.
Both are now validated before anything is written.

The check is the is_path_within_root helper the 3MF importer already
had, moved to Utils so both importers share it. It treats '/' and '\'
as separators on every platform, so a bundle that would escape on one
OS is rejected on all of them.

SoftFever 507b45431c Keep the CAD recipe in the one 3mf backend that actually runs
Format/3mf.cpp also saved and loaded it, but nothing calls its store_3mf and
its load_3mf only sees files fingerprinted as PrusaSlicer's, which never carry
a recipe. Its round-trip test only exercised that dead loop. The BBS backend,
which every save and load goes through, is untouched.

Kris Austin db29f570bd build: clear 50 warnings - pessimizing moves and null checks that cannot fail (#15408)
* build: remove std::move that blocks copy elision

std::move wrapped around a temporary, or around a local being returned,
stops the compiler constructing it in place. Each edit is the fix clang
suggests, which is to delete the std::move call and keep its argument.

Three of the 39 sites save a move, the two return std::move(local) in
Print.cpp and TreeSupport.cpp:2749. The rest are equivalent either way
and match how the codebase already writes this elsewhere.

Clears 39 -Wpessimizing-move warnings.

* build: drop null checks on references and this

A reference cannot be bound to null and this cannot be null, so the
compiler folds these conditions to true and drops the guard. Seven are
if (&bitmap && bitmap.IsOk()), where IsOk() already does the work; two
test this directly. The guarded code runs either way, so removing the
dead operand changes nothing.

Clears 11 -Wundefined-bool-conversion warnings.

Valerii Bokhan 524fd5e9c0 Fix: resolve 23 MSVC compiler warnings (#15280)
* fix: resolve MSVC compiler warnings and build error

C4101 - unreferenced local variables:
  - STEP.cpp, FilamentGroup.cpp: remove unused catch variable 'e'
  - GLGizmoMeasure.cpp: remove unused 'direction_on_model'
  - PartPlate.cpp: remove unused 'origin1, origin2'
  - DevStatus.cpp: suppress unused 'e' via (void)e

C4005 - macro redefinition:
  - Wrap NOMINMAX defines in #ifndef guards (OrcaSlicer.cpp, Preset.cpp,
    SupportTreeBuilder.cpp, OpenVDBUtils.cpp, GUI.cpp)
  - Remove conflicting DESIGN_INPUT_SIZE redefine in DownloadProgressDialog.cpp

C4172 - return address of local/temporary:
  - Config.cpp: return static const double instead of temporary 0

C4996 - deprecated API usage:
  - ImGuiWrapper.cpp: use GetText().Length() instead of GetTextLength()
  - OrcaCloudServiceAgent.cpp: replace deprecated wxPATH_NORM_ALL with
explicit flags matching old default behavior
  - ASCIIFolding.cpp: replace deprecated std::wstring_convert/codecvt_utf8
with boost::locale::conv::utf_to_utf (already used in same function)

C2440 - build error from deprecated wxTipWindow constructor:
  - Button.hpp/cpp: replace raw wxTipWindow* with wxTipWindow::Ref (weak
reference). Ref auto-nulls when the tip window closes, eliminating
the manual Bind(wxEVT_DESTROY) handler. delete uses operator->() to
access the raw pointer since Ref is non-owning

* fix: avoid duplicate GetText() call in ImGuiWrapper clipboard handler

Capture wxTextDataObject::GetText() result in a local variable instead
of calling it twice (for .Length() check and into_u8()). GetText()
returns wxString by value, so this avoids an extra allocation/copy.

Tommaso BianchiandClaude Opus 5 8c6df84acc Merge upstream/main into cad-mainline (530 commits)
Catches the fork up from 449a4cf9fc (2026-06-28) to d6cb667b89 (2026-07-24).
Upstream touched 2326 files; 17 of them overlap the 164 this branch touches.

16 of the 17 auto-merged, including all three CMakeLists.txt, the build_all.yml
CI workflow, and every GUI file. The CAD core never conflicts: CadDocument,
SketchEngine, SketchSolver, McpControl and test_caddocument are files this fork
adds, so upstream does not touch them.

The one conflict, tests/libslic3r/test_3mf.cpp, was purely additive in all three
hunks and is resolved as a union: our test pinning that store_bbs_3mf embeds the
CAD recipe as Metadata/SnapOrca_cad.bin, upstream's multi-nozzle plate-metadata
round-trip tests, and both sets of includes. All three were verified present
after resolution rather than assumed.

NOT BUILD-VERIFIED, for a reason that predates this merge and is not caused by
it: this fork cannot be configured on nativedev at all. Its CMakeLists has
required Eigen3 5.0.1 since before the merge (line 592 pre-merge), while the
only deps image on the machine is snaporca-deps, built for snaporca's
find_package(Eigen3 3.3). CMake fails at configure, so nothing compiles.

That means this fork's Catch2 suite has never run. Every "suite green" figure
recorded for M1-M8 was snaporca's suite; the ports were verified by patch-apply
plus the CAD sources being byte-identical to snaporca's. Building an orca_cad
deps image with Eigen 5.0.1 is what would finally close that gap.

Pre-merge state is preserved at branch cad-mainline-pre-upstream-2026-07-25
(30d54f0074).

SoftFever 03a704df7c feat(engine): wire the per-filament volume-map producer pipeline
- Print::update_filament_maps_to_config takes filament/volume/nozzle
maps, backfills an empty volume map from extruder types, rebuilds
  filament_map_2, re-expands the per-filament variant arrays, and
recomputes retract overrides keyed by resolved slots
- grouping writes its result back in every non-sequential mode;
manual multi-nozzle grouping validates the user mapping and raises a
translatable error on deviation; the engine's concrete volume
assignment is deliberately not merged yet (per-filament arrays are
already consumed by filament id, so materializing High Flow now
would change motion before the layer-aware resolvers land)
- Print::apply treats the three map keys as engine outputs in auto
modes (erased from the diff and adopted), compares them against used
filaments in manual mode, and keeps the pre-expansion snapshot in
sync with the late normalization pass so rebuilt headers reflect the
sliced state instead of resurrecting stale values
- volume/nozzle maps and extruder_nozzle_stats join the invalidation
  group of filament_map (wipe tower + skirt/brim)
- PresetBundle composes full configs with an optional per-filament
volume map (plate map, else defaults derived from each extruder's
flow type); project config keeps the map sized across filament
  count changes
- PartPlate stores per-plate volume/nozzle maps; Plater injects them
at every slice-composition site (incl. g-code reload and wipe-tower
estimation); BackgroundSlicingProcess reads engine results back to
  the plate in auto modes
- per-filament map trust guards relaxed to size-match everywhere now
that every producer sizes the map; single-filament explicit flow
  assignments are honored
- tests: grouping volume maps stay concrete, merge semantics of
  update_used_filament_values, single-filament override honoring

Motion g-code is byte-identical fleet-wide including Hybrid projects
(19-fixture gate + repro determinism double-slice). Header deltas:
the map keys now dump real values, and stale pre-normalization values
(e.g. enable_prime_tower on single-used-filament prints) no longer
leak into the config block.

Kris Austin b58025575d fix: isolate calibration temp paths per user (#14619)
* fix: isolate calibration temp paths per user

The calibration temp files under <temp>/calib were file-scope statics

added in #14607. On Linux every account shares /tmp, so the first user
to calibrate owns /tmp/calib and later users fail to write there, the
same cross-user collision #14607 fixed for model backups, STEP import,
and part skip.

Build the paths lazily from temporary_dir() instead, through a
calib_temp_dir() accessor and a calib_temp_file() join helper. The base
becomes <temp>/orcaslicer_<uid>/calib on Linux and is unchanged on
Windows, where the temp dir is already per user.

Also make StoreParams::path a std::string rather than a non-owning
const char*. The calibration code had to keep a std::string alive
solely to feed that pointer, and the field was uninitialized by
default; owning the string removes the lifetime hazard for all three
callers and makes the entry guard a reliable empty() check. Confined to
the 3mf project exporter (three callers, two internal reads); no
on-disk, format, or ABI impact.

Follows up on #14607 per @Noisyfox's review suggestion.
